Student Activities presents a talk with Dr. Meg Evans (they/them), who is an assistant professor of Higher Education in the Department of Leadership at the University of Memphis.

Mr. Evans will explore "Students in the Borderlands - Belonging when you don't fit neatly anywhere," which acknowledges that "some students don't feel fully at home in any single space, including multiracial students, first-generation students navigating class shifts, queer students in religious communities, politically isolated students or those holding multiple, complex identities."

This workshop helps students explore what it means to live in the "in-between" without feeling fragmented. Through guided reflection and dialogue, participants develop language for their experiences and strategies for building belonging on their own terms.
