RESUMES and COVER LETTERS - Required Workshop for First Time applicants to On-Campus Jobs

All first-time applicants for on-campus jobs must attend one
Career Development Office Required Workshop on
Resumes and Cover Letters and obtain a Certificate of Completion.

The one-hour workshop presented by SUA Career Development Office will cover best practices for job applications, crafting effective resumes and cover letters, interviewing tips, and Q&A session.
Prior to the workshop: Download the “First Year Resume Template” (Scan QR) and write/edit a first draft.
Actively participate in the workshop: arrive on time, sign-in, listen, and work to complete a final draft.
BRING YOUR LAPTOP and be prepared to work on your resume draft during the workshop.
You will receive a Certificate of Completion upon final resume draft review/approval by CDO staff.
Submit your Certificate of Completion with your on-campus job application materials (on Workday app).
