The Soka Student Union (SSU) is the undergraduate student body of Soka University. Every undergraduate student at the university is a member of SSU.

Graduate Student Union (GSU)

The Soka Graduate Student Union (GSU) is the graduate student body of Soka University. All graduate students at the university is a member of GSU.

Privileges and Responsibilites

Recognized student organization have privileges and responsibilities afforded by the university to carry our their goals and contributions to the mission of the university.

  • Resources for Student Organizations

    Email Accounts - Recognized student organization will have email accounts with access provided to the president and secretary of each organization. Should you require additional officers to have access to the email, contact Melody Murakami at mmurakami@soka.edu.

    Room Reservations - Recognized student organization have the priviledge of reserving designated meeting and practice rooms for their club activities. Practice room reservations are facilitated by the staff of the various departments.

    Posting On-Campus - Posting fliers and banners on-campus is permitted to recognized student organizatons. See the policy for posting on-campus.
