Leadership Summit
The Soka Leadership Summit was established in 2023 for students holding leadership roles on campus. It is designed to provide an opportunity for all student leaders to engage in thoughtful reflection on what leadership is and how it is effectively practiced. Furthermore, a core purpose of the event is to foster a collaborative environment where student leaders can build bonds with one another and gain knowledge to successfully navigate challenges they may face in their responsibilities. By attending this year’s summit, you will be able to:
- Reflect on your leadership style, recognizing strengths and areas for growth.
- Apply tools and insights from sessions to your day-to-day leadership responsibilities.
- Identify strategies to overcome challenges in your on-campus leadership roles.
- Understand leadership as service, connecting your actions to Soka's mission of contributive living.
- Build networks with peers across leadership roles to foster collaboration and mutual support.
- Articulate how Soka's values of human dignity, peace, and global citizenship inspire meaningful contributions to your communities.
